Foam Roof Repair

Previous step...

Application of closed cell foam: (Foam Roof Repair)

Expanded closed-cell Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF) is at the center of the Dura-Foam roof system. SPF is a waterproof material, which is also a great insulation value of R 6.25 per inch. When the water exposed, this roofing material remains dry, since the foam cells are closed and impenetrable by water. Process for the successful application of SPF (Foam Roof Installation) requires an experienced crew and the right equipment.

Two elements combine to create polyurethane foam resistant to water and isocyanate resin. These materials travel separately through several stages controlled expensive state of the art equipment such as temperature and pressure is maintained precisely. The two materials are combined to reach the tip of a special weapon. In essence, the material is covered with foam to form a thick moisture barrier, seamless, personalized and seamless. Unlike many of our competitors foam roof, not the pump 55 gallons. Our trucks are large tanks that provide temperature stability and purity of the product resulting in a better product (smooth, 100% polyurethane closed-cell foam waterproof).

How the polyurethane foam is applied over the roof surface?

As the polyurethane foam is sprayed in place, hitting the roof surface as a liquid then rises in three seconds. The roof of moss can be trampled in a minute. As SPF is sprayed in place, forms a barrier that seals the monolithic roof surface from edge to edge, without seams or joints. Sealing around roof elements, such as exhaust vents circular drive is easily done with a SPF. Thickness of the roof and downstream controls are designed to improve drainage. The edges are trimmed for a neat appearance. The application of the foam is a critical step, since the closed cell foam is the primary seal barrier system foam cover.
